Used by bid teams, sales functions, and SMEs across regulated and commercial sectors.

How BidScript is priced

Every BidScript deployment looks different. Some customers are three-person sales teams shortening their proposal cycles with BidBot. Others are enterprise bid functions running dozens of SMEs through a governed knowledge engine. A fixed plan catalogue can't price both fairly.

So we price per seat, across three seat types, and we scope the per-seat rate against the things that actually move the needle: your bid volume, bid value, complexity, cadence, and budget.

No forced minimum seat counts. No surprise tier jumps. Your platform, your shape.

Three seat types, one platform

Equal weight by design — the right answer is usually a mix, not a single tier.

Core seat

Full platform access. The operators running your bids.

A Core seat gives a user the whole of BidScript:

  • End-to-end ownership of the bid lifecycle
  • Create, edit, and manage every bid, library, and project
  • Full access to the bid library and knowledge engine
  • Appointable as admins — managing users, roles, and configuration

This is the seat for your bid managers, bid directors, and anyone owning the mechanics of how bids get built, reviewed, and submitted.

Best fit signal: “I need to run bids, not just contribute to them.”

Sales Knowledge Hub seat

BidBot-first access for sales and commercial teams.

Sales Knowledge Hub seats are centred on BidBot, our AI agent. Holders can:

  • Interrogate your bid library, knowledge engine, and project data through BidBot
  • Get instant, grounded answers to prospect questions, RFIs, and qualification queries
  • Be assigned as reviewers or contributors on specific sections of specific documents

This is the seat for sellers, solution consultants, and commercial leads who field prospect questions daily and benefit from instant access to your institutional knowledge — without needing the full bid toolkit.

Best fit signal: “I need the answers, not the bid platform.”

Contributor seat

Targeted editor access for subject-matter experts.

Contributor seats give your SMEs the ability to:

  • Review and edit at question, section, or document level
  • Contribute directly into named assignments without seeing the full bid
  • Refine and sharpen knowledge engine content in their domain of expertise

This is the seat for the engineers, clinicians, legal counsel, solution architects, and operators whose expertise you want visible in proposals — but who don't need (and usually don't want) full platform access. Contributor seats free up Core-seat time by letting SMEs do what only they can do, at the granularity where they're most useful.

Best fit signal: “I'm the expert on one piece — get me in and out cleanly.”

Roles, configured to your business

Underneath the seat types sits a fine-grained authorisation model. In practice, that means we can configure exactly what a given user can see, edit, or approve — right down to an individual bid, section, content domain, or business unit.

Concretely, that supports:

  • Locked-down sandboxes for joint ventures and consortium bids
  • Sector-specific role shapes for regulated environments (health, defence, financial services, local government)
  • Clean segregation of duties between contributors, reviewers, and approvers
  • Audit trails of who did what, where, and when

What drives your per-seat price

We publish seat types, not a price list, because several interconnected factors shape what a BidScript seat is worth to you:

  • Available budget. We'd rather scope a realistic deployment than quote something that gets pushed back six months later.
  • Volume of bids. Twenty bids a year and two hundred bids a year use the platform differently.
  • Value of those bids. A £50k managed-services bid and a £20m framework lot don't carry the same ROI profile per seat.
  • Bid complexity. Regulated, multi-lot, partner-led, or international bids shift the value calculus.
  • Frequency and cadence. Rolling pipeline, seasonal surge, or framework renewal cycles all load the platform differently.
  • The work itself. Writing-heavy, knowledge-heavy, and governance-heavy deployments each use seat time differently.

We scope all of that on a short call and come back with per-seat rates and a recommended mix.

Let's scope it properly

Twenty minutes on a call tells us more than twenty pricing pages would. Bring your team shape, your bid pipeline, and the one problem you most want BidScript to solve — we'll tell you honestly which seat mix fits and what it'll cost.
